About

Rylee MacDonald is a great athlete who’s passion for sports has been with her through her entire life!

She started kicking a soccer ball around as a toddler while watching her older sister play during her soccer games. Then when she was old enough, she played organized soccer herself.

While she was playing soccer, Rylee was taking swimming lessons as a way of teaching her life lessons.

Rylee always had a natural aptitude for sports, even at a very young age at birthday parties parents would comment that she should play baseball because she was the only one that was hitting the pinata and breaking it open!

During elementary school in grade three the jr. basketball coach came to Rylee and asked her to practice with team. Too young to actually play for the team, she would practice with them to gain experience for the following year.

While playing for her school team Rylee’s coach suggested that she try out for the city’s rep team when she was 9 years old. A little nervous and almost leaving the tryout before it even began, she made the novice rep team.
